You do not need a referral to get started with a speech pathologist. However, it is recommended that you see a GP/huisarts for a referral if you are hoping to claim sessions through your health insurance.
Where do sessions take place?
Research shows that treatment is most effective when conducted in a child’s natural environment. Sessions can take place in the home, at the school / childcare center, or online when appropriate.
We offer speech therapy services in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Amstelveen, Almere, and The Hague.
